About Acting Natural

As a writer, life itself is my material.   Seemingly insignificant details often offer the most insight.  I draw upon this parade in an attempt to make my writing palpable.

With so many talented and more experienced bloggers out there narrating life through their eyes, what is different about me?  If fact, like their blogs, mine will admittedly be yet another outlet for sorting these thoughts and unsolicited opinions with anyone who will listen.

One purpose for this blog is to dispel and minimize the (often unacknowledged) social inhibitions that exist.  I also hope that like-minded individuals will hear their inner voice in my pieces and feel validated.  I will discuss books, authors, society, religion, relationships, aging, sex, and everything else that can’t be categorized (yet makes for great novel research).

Above all, this blog is going to help me decrease my fear of exposing myself.  A writer and a published author are two very different people; to become publishable, one must undress completely.

So, that is what I will do.  I will stop acting natural, and just be.  Enjoy.
